i have 2 staffy pups (6months old- sisters) sasha keeps her collar on happily but wont let roxy have one on. ive caught her pulling at the buckle til its comes off- i yell at her when i catch her doing this but nope as soon as i turn away shes at it again. roxy doesnt mind her doing this but im getting really annoyed. i bought them gorgeous and expensive collars but cant let roxy have hers- so shes stuck with $2 ones til i can get sasha to stop taking hers off and chewing them. any suggestions? i tried white pepper but sasha seemed to like it. its getting really bad. i went trough 3 collars in 2 days. both my dogs have beem micro-chipped, but id love for them to have a collar on which also has their council id tag etc on it. any help would be great.
sasha does have plenty of toys so its not a boredom issue im sure. she doesnt use tug toys and i believe they arent good anyway as they can cause aggression eg. fighting over the toy to get possession of it. staffys dont have the best of a name so the calmer and nice i can get my 2 girls the better. they are purely for pets. maybe i'll try the bitter apple or something similar i'll check with my pet shop today. keep the suggestions coming through though.
