Extra thick training pads are excellent for puppy house breaking as well as an elimination area for dogs that do not have regular access to the outdoors. These pads are extra thick and super absorbent for even large adult dogs. If you're gone more than four hours a day, consider floor protection pads as a lifelong substitute for your pet use instead of eliminating outdoors. If you have a large house, you may want to place pads in several areas of the house.
