You need to take control! When he does that you scold him harshly so that he knows your not playing around. Don’t let him get away with it because if you do he’ll think its ok and he’ll keep doing it.

the best thing to do it to take him to a training school and let the trainer know what he is doing he will beable to tell you if the dog is beyound repair and needs to be put down or if he can be saved and trained.
but keep in mind if he has tried to turn on you then he may turn on others (children) and it might be best to put him down…
call the place where you bought the dog and ask questions about his back ground . if you cant get this information it would be wise to put his to sleep. you may be taking your chances and some one may get hurt.

First of all I will never understand why so many people think putting a dog to sleep is the answer to everything. These are the people who should never own an animal.

They #1 don’t understand it and #2 will protect themselves when they feel threatened. Picture someone coming up to you and grabbing your neck and dragging you around the house. What would your response be. A lot of dog training is common sense. People tend to read into it too much. You will eventually teach him that anytime you go for his collar its a bad thing. When my dogs defy me, I have a rottweiler and a Berner, I restate my command with an authority that tells them. “hey she means business”.
