I purchased Caesar Milan's Illusion Collar and leash for my German

I have a Share-Pei who tends to pull on the leash quite a bit when he sees another dog. I've tried prong collars, choke collars, etc. for a long time, with no luck. After watching Ceasar's show, I couldn't wait to give this collar a try when I ordered it. I put it on my dog the day it came in, and we went for a walk. By the way, I have to say - the minute I put the Illusion collar on my dog, his whole demeanor changed right away because there was this 'extra stuff' around his neck and he had this "I'd better behave now" look on his face. I mean it is clear the Milan's knew what they were doing when designing the collar (if you watch the show, you would probably agree)- it does change a dog's behaviour by 'hitting' in the right places. I watched it on my dog as he was walking and then as he attempted to pull on the leash a couple of times. The minute I correct him, he would respond right away (that was not the case with the choker; the prone collar - he would just ignore altogether). So this product works as designed, but then again - I didn't expect anything less coming from an expert

So far so good, it has been working pretty good, just the real test will be later on when you use a regular leash, and see if the dog has been trained well with this collar.
Well made, easy to use and fairly durable. Would love it if it was leather, or the handle was easier or softer on the hands.

My husband and I decided to try the Illusion collar for our dog, Raven, because during walks he was totally out of control. We heard good things, and did not want to use a pronged collar, so we gave it a try. Raven is a big (90 pound) German Shepherd/Great Dane mix. We both like the collar, as it does give us more control over that sensitive neck area. Perhaps we got the wrong size, but sometimes we have a problem with keeping the corrective rope part on the right part of the neck (it can slide down), and that is the only reason I gave the collar a 4. We usually have to readjust once or twice, but I think definitely worth the purchase!
